ELDERLY

Bristol has a dearth of facilities for the elderly - and no more so than for the elderly of the minorities. With social care for the elderly, facilities to reduce isolation, so low on the list of priorities for government, local authorities and social services the Association seeks to make this a new area of activity as soon as possible.

Sadly funds are few and far between for independent projects so the Association currently seeks partners to help establish an elderly persons lunch club on our premises, once or twice a week.

We hope that a new facility will be a possibility in 2008.
