Welcome to the Bangladesh Association - Bristol, Bath & West.

The Association is a charity founded to support the Bangladeshi community. It provides services to help personal development of community members and ensure that they play a full part in the cultural and ethnic mix of modern day Britain.

Together with our sister organisation, the Bristol Bangladeshi Women’s Organisation (BBWO), we are a catalyst for initiatives benefiting the community whilst also acting as advocates on behalf of the community.

This site has been developed to provide visitors with as much information about the Association, it’s services and projects as possible. It also offers you the opportunity to interact with the Association by giving feedback and your views on what we do and/or what you think we should be doing.

You can also be kept up to date with the latest community news by subscribing to our newsletter and being informed of events, seminars, surgeries and services by text to your mobile phone.

Bengal Tigers suspended!

Bengal Tigers FC have been suspended from the Downs League following the abandoning of their game against Retainers on Saturday 12 April. They were losing 3-1 when the game erupted into violence. Players from both sides fought - but the Tigers ‘carry the can’ and are banned without their case being heard!
